MOVIE REVIEW: MOANA, A BRAVE PRINCESS ON A JOURNEY

I.
Walt Disney Animation Studios' musical escapade follows the exploits of a
young girl who discovers her own voice and ignites an identity of her own.
Instead of a traditional princess with a need for help, whereby the movie
addresses in interestingly understanding manner, she prefers to be a
forward-thinking representative of her people under her own conditions.Moana
encounters Maui, a formerly demigod, who leads her to get to be a skilled
way-finder in her journey. Together, on an initiative adventure, they journey
through the open seas, facing immense predators and unlikely conditions.
Moana satisfies, along the journey, the ancient quest of her ancestors. She
does have the patience to honor the values of her people and the confidence
to carve her own path into the unknown.

II.
One of the finest descriptions of a successful animated movie that has
already been made seems to be the movie Moana. It is indeed excellent, from
both the visual effects to the sound effects. It really is wonderful, the way they
played with the background elements. The way trees, lakes, and mountains
have been drawn, for instance, has been so authentic. Some of the outcomes
still appear so surreal that this really brought greater curiosity to the attention
of the spectator. The cutting and transitions were indeed a justification for the
amusement of the picture. The costumes and sets are indeed fitting and really
suited the environment selected by them. The impact of every other visual
effect they imposed onto everyone could really be felt. In addition, as to how
Moana as well as other roles would look throughout the film, the illustrators
worked excellent. Moana's charm did reflect brilliantly indeed. It really made
the entire film more entertaining only with animations than what it already is.
The main music, in addition to that, was also very enjoyable and it also has a
pretty pleasant rhythm. Pretty much across the board, the filmmakers
illustrated the animations very well.

III.
Moana's broader influence indicates to the audience that everything that
can happen, we have to trust in ourselves. She chose not to listen, although
her parents stopped her, so she thinks she might save her island from the dark.
It also indicates not only are women confined to community jobs, but they can
roam and compete. The other most significant meaning throughout this film is
trusting and seeking your true identity. Part of Polynesian culture has been
interpreted by Disney's Moana in its own manner, with maybe some elements
being more accurate while others were exaggerated. In Polynesian mythology,
Maui, for instance, is a true demigod. He is usually portrayed, other than in the
film, as a young teenager. Maui is depicted in the movie as an obese and
unintelligent guy, which is also an inappropriate cultural depiction. The
character offends many indigenous Hawaiians, and they do not want their kids
to see Disney's depiction of this religious demigod. For this project, Disney
claims to have conducted studies, although it is clear that most of the glorious
heritage of Polynesia and Kauai was overlooked. It's a great idea to watch this
film for enjoyment, but it really is significant to mention that the historical truth
of Polynesia is considerably different.

IV.
All in all, it is indeed connected to the audience, apart from the
body-swaying tracks. You can sense the feelings of the scenes and their
attitudes. The voice overs, graphics, directing and storyline are fantastic.
Vibrantly colored, vivid graphics mixed with fun tunes. It's not like all the other
Disney princesses in this film. The movie shows that women are not just about
gowns, kisses, love stories, and dark witches, this is the second movie that has
such powerful message and is also an outstanding option to the audiences of
all ages.
