1. One of the benefits of an enterprise system is that it may improve productivity and flexible.

ERP
systems can automate repetitive processes that users would not need to do anymore once it is
implemented. Thus, employees will have more time to focus on more important things. For
example, an ERP may automate ordering raw materials from vendors automatically once reserve
in the warehouse is depleted.

Another benefit is that ERP allows managers to make decisions more quickly and easier. An ERP
system can provide a dashboard that tells managers production and inventory status, and the
current sales trend. A manager could easily decide which vendor to go to for when selecting a
vendor for a raw material as they have different deals. As ERP can provide sales statistics,
managers could select the best deals easily from the vendors.

Another benefit is that an ERP system could improve how records are kept and compliance. An
ERP system could have a built-in security system that monitors how data is stored and how it is
shared across the company. This feature can help companies to follow the requirements of a
law or regulatory body. This feature could also let the company control how freely information
flow within and outside the company.

2. SWOT analysis is important method to know and understand a company as it provide way to
know how a company operates. It examines a company’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities
and threats in the market. These information are helpful to make a company succeed.

3. One of the benefits of implementing an knowledge management system is that it allows other
employees to reuse ideas and expertise more easily. For example, when an employee
encountered a problem and found a solution, that problem and solution could be added to the
knowledge management system. Then when the same problem or similar problem is
encountered by another employee, that employee could use the knowledge management
system to search for the problem and re-use or incorporate several solutions in the knowledge
management system to solve the problem they are solving.

Another benefit of implementing a knowledge management system is that it could be used to

provide better service to users (employees, customers, partners). For example, a knowledge
management system could export the contents into a file and have a third party natural
language service read and parse that file to produce a knowledge base that can be used to build
chatbots. (example: Microsoft QnA Maker) After these chatbots are built and deployed, users
would be able to ask questions to the chatbot and have it answered almost immediately,
without needing to wait for answers, and if needed, could ask an actual person to answer it.

4. One of the benefits of using an SCM system is that it will make the flow of materials, products
and information better. Employees should know the amount of materials in inventory, inventory
space and organization, product demands and shipping schedules. A properly implemented SCM
system would know these things. Thus, employees could get the necessary information from the
SCM software rather than asking around other people, which may give inaccurate answers and
may result in bad decisions.

Another benefit of SCM system is that it allows better data visibility. An SCM system could
provide a dashboard or even integrate with a business intelligence application to give managers
accurate, real-time information about their inventory and production status. Some can even
forecast product demands. These features can bring advantage to managers who knows how to
act on information provided by these features.

Another benefit of SCM system is that it can bring enhanced financial practices and cost cutting
and improve employee efficiency. An SCM system can automate manual tasks that is needed to
be done by employees. When manual tasks are offloaded to software to do, the company can
either cut down their workforce (which will save them more money), or improve employee
productivity by allowing them to work on more important stuff rather than working on manual,
repetitive tasks. For example, when producing reports, employees would not need to search for
data and re-enter them to the system to produce reports, instead, they could have entered the
data just one time when it is needed and generate the report with one click at a later time.

Finally, the last benefit of SCM system is that they could optimize the number of inventory a
company is storing. As an SCM system have the data about current inventory level, production
status and demand, SCM system could forecast future demand and order just the right amount
of material to stockpile. For example, a company would not need to store large amounts of
materials when demand forecast is likely to be lower, while they should stock enough materials
to meet demands.
