Types of Summary Measures:

1. Mean
 Mean = “Arithmetic average” of the scores
 Example: scores = 64, 70, 80, 80, 90, 98, 100
 Mean = Sum of values divided by number of scores:

 64 + 70 + 80 + 80 + 90 + 98 + 100 = 582
 582 ÷ 7 = 83.14
