 Atta Chaudry started the first Radiology center west side MRI in New York in 1996.
He also Bought Gramercy Surgery Center in 2000. He worked hard and made them
one of the best centers in town.

Sadia Chaudry Wife of Atta Chaudry came into the business in 2006. She started
American Diagnostic Imaging in 2006 In Newark, New Jersey, and put all her efforts
into growing the business. She Bought Hudson Radiology Center in Bayonne, New
Jersey, MRNJ Radiology Center in Nutley and Oradell, New Jersey.

Atta Chaudry sold his business in New York and joined his Wife. They bought
Surgery Center Of Oradell with 3 OR from Hospital In 2014. Together they built new
State of the Art, Parkway Surgery Center in Lyndhurst, New Jersey, in 2018. Now
both are managing all the facilities under the umbrella of UNITED MANAGEMENT
ASSOCIATES.

Their Company is also taking over a well-reputed Medical Laboratory. Wich will
be an extremely beneficial part of their business. This lab will facilitate all kinds of
blood testing including COVID-19, which has vast potential.

TO UMA
United Management Associates “UMA” is managing multiple numbers of Radiology Centers and,
Ambulatory Surgical Centers under one umbrella.

UMA has state-of-the-art medical facilities specifically designed for patients requiring outpatient
surgery center under general or local anesthesia. Our facilities offer patients and their families a
smaller, more comfortable setting than what can be provided in a full-service, traditional hospital.
We continually invest in the latest technology so that your physician and expert team of medical
professionals have the tools they need to ensure the ultimate standard of care.

Under our managed centers, our goal is to provide our patients with the highest quality services
and cost-efficient healthcare in a comfortable and safe environment. We offer expertise,
convenience, and simplicity that is unmatched.

Our Commitment to Patient Satisfaction

Under our managed centers, your admitting time is short and simple, parking is ample and nearby,
and there are no miles of hallways and other confusing barriers to navigate — just a pleasant
outpatient environment. Our patient satisfaction surveys repeatedly reflect high praise for the
center and our specialized staff.

Ambulatory Surgery Centers
The ambulatory surgery centers are allowed to do the surgeries in which the patient does not need
to stay for more than 23 hours. There are minimum chances of infections in surgery centers com-
pare to a hospital. We have an infection control department run by professionals.

Under our managed centers, we support safe, quality patient care using a collaborative team
approach among the patient, patient’s family, physicians, and staff. Our office staff is helpful and
compassionate, and we have two main priorities: the patient and his procedures.

As part of our commitment to quality care, our managed centers has a Continuous Quality Im-
provement Process. Each quarter since our inception, our Quality Committee has conducted the
following:

• Patient Satisfaction Review in which survey results, patient comments and any complaints
are addressed.
• Medical Records Review to ensure that our chart documentation is accurate and current.
• Credentials Review to verify that our doctors, nurses, and medical staff have current training
and licensure.
• Peer Review through which our doctors review one another’s charts to ensure optimal
medical care is provided.
• Pharmacy Review to verify proper storage and administration of all medications.
• Infection Control Review to verify proper equipment sterilization and patient and employee
safety per OSHA guidelines.
• Post-Procedure Phone Calls to check on our patients in the days following their procedures.

Our doctors want to see how you’re feeling and to make sure that your visit was positive. Our staff
is trained to ask a series of questions. All information is kept in a confidential computer database
for review by our Quality Assurance Committee so that we may continually improve our policies
and procedures. We want to ensure your experience at our centers is as pleasant as possible.

 SURGERY CENTER OF
ORADELL - GLOBAL
This center is located in Oradell, New Jersey. It is only fifteen minutes away from New York and
five minutes away from Paramus and Hackensack, major cities of New Jersey. The two major
hospitals, Hackensack Hospital and Valley National Hospital, are five minutes away.

UMA bought this center in 2014.

SCO has a big parking lot. It has pre opt with 12 beds and with all the necessary equipment. It
has 3 operation theaters with state-of-the-art equipment and all necessities.
Davis Rahungdan is the director of operations. He is managing a professional and dedicated
team to run the operation theaters.

 PARKWAY AMBULATORY
SURGICAL CENTER
PASC is located in Lyndhurst, New Jersey. It is very close to highways. It is only 15 minutes away
from downtown Manhattan. It is affiliated with Hudson Reginal Hospital and Jersey City Medical
Center. This center has 10 beds of pre opt and 2 operation theaters and 10 beds of post-op with
all the necessary equipment.

UMA acquired the license in 2018.

Saad Waqas is director of operations, and Geeta Mohan is the nursing director.

PASC maintains a high nurse-to-patient ratio. At PASC all staff members are skilled in the use of
state-of-the-art medical equipment, protocols, and techniques.

IMAGING INC
UMA bought this Radiology Center in 2006. It is located in the heart of Newark City, New Jersy.
It is in front of Pen Station. The center is accredited by the American radiology Center.

UMA started this center in 2008. This Radiology Center is located in Bayonne, New Jersey. It serv-
ers the Hudson County.

We pride ourselves on the care and services we provide to our patients and referring physicians.
Our radiologists, certified by the American Board of Radiology and fellowship trained in their
sub-specialties, are always available Our technologists are similarly ARRT and ARDMS certified,
and all support staff are highly educated, well trained and courteous.

Our goal is to provide a wide range of services to suit the needs of our community in a comfort-
able and caring environment. We make it our mission to be very compassionate. Each patient is
treated like a family member.

UMA bought this center in 2011. This Radiology Center is located in Nutley, New Jersey. This
state-of-the-art center servers the Essex County. This center is accredited by ARC.

At North Jersey Radiology we offer a full array of diagnostic and interventional imaging ser-
vices including MRI, CAT scan, Mammography Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy, and general x-ray. Our
full service and state of the art outpatient imaging centers provide you and your loved ones the
best medical expertise and technology in a convenient, comfortable setting. All radiologists are
board certified and all equipment is ACR and IAC accredited.

Expect easy access, convenient scheduling, and timely service. You will be cared for by highly
skilled technologists and the finest radiologists who will put you first.

 AMBULATORY SURGERY
CENTERS GROWTH
Outmigration isn’t a new concern for hospital leaders. But while leaders once worried about
the shift of surgeries from high-revenue inpatient settings to lower revenue hospital outpatient
(HOPD) settings, the rapid growth of ambulatory surgical centers (ASCs) is stoking even greater
fears about the ability to maintain hospital surgical revenues.

That shift threatens to take surgeries one step further from hospitals—to even lower-cost ASCs.
And it’s happening quickly. If you look at the total number of outpatient surgeries in 2005, you
saw roughly a 60-40 split (that is, 59% of outpatient surgeries were performed in HOPDs com-
pared with 41% in ASCs). By 2020, projections show this will have flipped; only 40% of surgeries
will be performed in HOPDs.

This reversal is clearly reflected in total ASC volume growth. In 2017, ASC volumes increased by
22.9% nationally. In 20 of the top 50 largest U.S. markets, ASCs more than doubled their market
share between 2015 and 2016. And looking ahead, the U.S. ASC market is expected to surpass
$40 billion by 2020.
