related to environmental health.
iii. Organizing community health days to advise the Hospital community on common
public health issues;
iv. Participating in research, teaching and supervising the performance of both
medical and non-medical staff as well as students.
v. Design or use monitoring tools, like as screening, lab records, and vital
information, to recognize health risks.
vi. Prepare precautionary health reports which include problem explanations,
analyses, alternate solutions, and suggestions.
vii. Deliver details about potential health risks and possible treatments to the
management and other health care experts.

For appointment to this post, a candidate must have: -

1) A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Development studies or related


field
2) Proven practical experience in cash and livelihoods programming. Past experience
in working early recovery projects.
3) Coordination experience with different partners and stakeholders
4) Good written and spoken English.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:


Cash Transfer Programming

i. Organize and supervise the distribution of cash to the targeted beneficiaries.


ii. Responsible for the selection and verification of beneficiaries in coordination with
community committee and authorities and the use of selection criteria
iii. Actively engage and support in community sensitization activities on selection
criteria, cash redemption process and feedback mechanism.
iv. Develop distribution plans for Cash and share for final approval.
v. Coordinate with cash transfer agents on the schedule of distributions to make sure
they are ready with cash to smoothly distribute cash to beneficiaries.
vi. Conduct field visits to project sites and meet with community leaders to select
specific vulnerable locations for targeting and ensure a conducive community
mobilization system
Livelihoods Programming

i. Within the context of a longer term strategy to livelihood support and


vulnerability reduction, Participate to the production of technical support
materials and guide program teams on the delivery of mechanisms that will
ensure effective implementation of livelihoods interventions as well as early
recovery.
ii. Provide close supervision and monitoring to the implementation of livelihood
project related activities in the field
Monitoring & Evaluation and reporting
i. Conduct post distribution monitoring
ii. Support in conducting market assessments or cash feasibility assessment in the
targeted communities
iii. Under the supervision of Program Manager conduct baseline and end line
surveys
MEDICAL OFFICER – FORTY FOUR (44) POSTS –

Monthly Salary Scale: Ksh.189, 000 p.m.

1) Bachelor's degree in medicine.


2) A master's degree in health administration (MHA) or business administration (MBA)
would be advantageous.
3) Clinical risk management experience.
4) Advanced knowledge of medical research methodology and ethics.
5) Extensive knowledge of medical recordkeeping practices.
6) Advanced ability to ensure the highest standards in patient care and compliance
with healthcare regulations.
7) Ability to keep abreast of advancements in the field of specialization.
8) Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills

i. Contributing clinical expertise to patient care and providing guidance to junior


physicians.
ii. Performing administrative duties and risk management.

v. Hiring, supervising, and mentoring healthcare professionals and collaborating with
consultants.
vi. Managing allocated budgets and identifying areas of improvement in inpatient care.
vii. Keeping informed on advancements in the field and contributing to medical research
programs.
viii. Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards.
ix. Reporting to senior management, as well as liaising between administrative and
medical staff.
