3. General comments
Why should the applicant be considered for a Scholarship?
I have known Sri Mulyana since 2011 as she has attended several courses that I taught in the area of community development. She has been a pleasure to teach, always
engaged in every discussion and performed remarkably well on all assignments. During her academic years, she has maintained excellent grade and she was also brilliantly
able to understand the correlation between social issues and economics theories. Furthermore, she graduated with honors (cum laude) in 2016 and showed an outstanding
performance in writing her undergraduate thesis. Overall, she has done extremely well, and is one of the strongest in the courses. As a lecturer I am very pleased to see her
development within the academic years. She was critical, diligent, and active in student associations. Furthermore, she has many experiences as a leader to the program
committee for several student events and has proven her ability to influence others.

Sri Mulyana has been keen on participating in various scientific writing contests and it has sharpened her ability in assessing socio-economic issues as most of her essays
elaborate about this topic. I believe these experiences show her capability and capacity to undertake research and study independently. Furthermore, she won the 2 nd place
in the selection of outstanding student competition at the university level in 2014. I was one of the lecturers who has assisted her throughout the competition and has
witnessed closely the positive attitudes and relentless efforts she has pulled through to achieve her goals.

Based on my assessment as her former lecturer, I believe Sri Mulyana is fully capable to pursuing and completing master’s degree in one of renowned university in
Australia and expect that she will be a positive addition to the programme. I hope she will be admitted, as well as funded by Australian Award Scholarship.
