Test I

1. AETHEISTIC- EXISTENTIALIST view is very individualistic and pragmatic.

2. MARXIST- COMMUNIST view of man/woman strongly appeals to many people in the world today. This
view of the groups is superior to the state.

3. DIGNITY of the human person is rooted in his/ her being created in the very image and likeness of
his/her own Creator, God Himself.

4. God created the human person as a rational BEING?

5. FREEDOM is the power, rooted in reason and will -- to act or not to act, to do this or that, and to
perform deliberate actions anchored to one's own responsibility.

Test I I

1. When God came here on earth He brought us this three new laws and what are they? And explain it.

God came to Earth and brought with Him three new laws that will be helpful for us in fulfilling His words.
This three new laws will be fundamental not only in being morally and ethically rational but as well as in
being spiritually complete. The three laws are:

 Law of Love

The ultimate fulfilment and completion of this biblical law, including the Ten Commandments,
can be achieved by loving God first above all and then loving others. Jesus said that the first and
greatest commandment is to “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and
with all your mind” whereas the second is to “Love your neighbour as yourself’(Matthew 22:30-
40).

We should love the Lord above all from the bottom of our hearts and without any doubt. After
that, we should love others like how we love ourselves and as much as we love ourselves. If we
as Christians love the Lord with all our heart, soul, and mind, and our neighbour as ourselves, we
will naturally satisfy the spirit of all the other laws.

 Law of Grace
One should not grieve over failures of human plans. The law of grace will lead us to appreciate
our holy and merciful God and to desire to be like Him. The power of Spirit will bring harmony in
discord, abundance in lack, health over illness, and blessings in troubles. Grace is our undeserved
gift from God.

I will gladly accept God’s gift when I am down because God said “My gift of undeserved grace is
all you need. My power is strongest when you are weak” (2 Corinthians 12:9).

 Law of Freedom

When Jesus revealed himself as the Messiah, He said that He had come to Earth to “proclaim
freedom”. On another occasion, He said, “If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed”. Jesus
was not setting us free to do whatever we wanted but was freeing us to do what we ought to do
which was to walk in relationship with God and to the people He created us to be.

Jesus was asserting that we are all under the power and control of a natural tendency to sin; we
can’t get away from it by ourselves. Sin brings a penalty that, by ourselves, we can’t escape
either. In order for us to be free from our sins, the bible says “For God so loved the world, He
gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have an
everlasting life” (John 3:16).

2. Explain the Human Freedom and Responsibility ,and each kind.

Human Freedom is the power rooted when it comes to reason and will to act or not to act, to do this or
that, and to perform certain actions focused onto one’s own responsibility. It is a driving force for
growth and maturity in goodness and in truth, and attains its perfection when aimed towards our
beatitude, God.

Freedom and responsibility go hand in hand. Freedom is necessary to do good but can also coerce us
into committing mistakes. Freedom will also lead us closer to God and reconcile with Him and with
others. It is given that we should fully use our freedom to be responsible enough to take accountability
for our actions because when we are free, we are responsible.

Two Kinds of Freedom:

 Inner Freedom

Inner freedom refers to the freedom to become what we can possibly be. It is directed towards
personal growth and fulfilment. It can be achieved when we have well- determined goals in life.

 Freedom to be Oneself
When a person is able to find fulfilment for his human needs, he has found true happiness. Inner
freedom can then be defined as freedom that promotes the fulfilment of human needs. In
simple words, freedom to be oneself means that a person’s life is a quest for happiness.

 Conditions of Inner Freedom

A person grows in self-knowledge and understanding of his/her vocation, he/she opens the road
to greater inner freedom. This means there must be restrictions on one’s external freedom, and
certain activities must be limited or excluded.
