Satish Dhawan Space Centre SHAR (SDSC SHAR) issued advertisements for
filling up of the following posts:

In view of the COVID-19 first wave prevailed in the country, SDSC SHAR had
earlier proposed to conduct Written Tests to the above advertised posts in a
decentralized manner at 12 cities viz., Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chandigarh,
Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, New Delhi and
Thiruvananthapuram.
Accordingly, options were obtained for selection of Written Tests venue from the
above 12 identified cities by the candidates, who are screened-in for Written Test based
on the information furnished in their online applications.
Due to outbreak of COVID-19 second wave, though the options were obtained
from the candidates, the Written Test could not be conducted in decentralized manner
as planned.
In order to hasten the recruitment process considering the continued situation of
COVID-19 pandemic, SDSC SHAR has now decided to conduct the Written Test
through online mode i.e., Computer Based Test (CBT) and for the convenience of
the candidates, the cities for Written Tests are increased from 12 to 30 cities viz.,

Therefore, the screened-in candidates are advised once again to exercise their
option to select one of the city from the aforementioned 30 cities for attending the
Written Test online through Computer Based Test (CBT) by logging in
https://www.shar.gov.in (or) https://apps.shar.gov.in with Registration Number
and Date of Birth provided at the time of submission of their online applications. The list
of screened-in candidates is made available in the Results Section of SDSC SHAR
website. The screened-in candidates are also being intimated through their registered
e-mail and mobile number for selection of city for Written Test.
The following points may be noted for exercising the option for selection of city for
attending the Written Test:
 Those screened-in candidates who have exercised their options for city/venue
selection earlier need not exercise their option once again.

 Those candidates who are willing to change the city/venue already selected can
exercise their option for selection of city afresh.

 In any case, if the option is not exercised afresh the earlier selected city/venue
will be taken as city for attending the written test.

 Those candidates who could not exercise their option earlier are given
opportunity to exercise their option for selection of city for attending the Written
Test.

It may be noted that ONLY those screened-in candidates who have

exercised their option for selection of city for attending Written Test will be
permitted to download the e-admit cards for Computer Based Test (CBT) from
the website. The e-admit cards for CBT will also be sent through their
registered e-mail.
However, SDSC SHAR reserves the right to change/cancel the Written Test city/venue
and re-allot the candidates to any other identified city/venue for attending the Written
Test.
The schedule and venue of Written Test through online CBT will be notified in due
course. The candidates are advised to visit SDSC SHAR website regularly for the latest
updates.

Important dates to remember:

Opening date for Selection of Written Test city : 06.08.2021 at 10.00 Hrs

Closing date for Selection of Written Test city : 20.08.2021 at 17.00 Hrs
