For delivering lessons, we  are using flexible learning. This will allow you to work
independently but with my assistance. This may be challenging but with your adaptability and
enthusiasm to be a professional, you will be able to ace it.

HOW?

§  Manage your time well. Schedule properly your reading assignments and your activity
accomplishments. Have your planner or calendar of activities ready. Remember, you
have other modules to accomplish for this semester.

§  Focus your attention. Make sure that you do things one at a time. Read the material
over and over until you are able to understand the lesson. If you do not understand the
lesson you can read other materials such as the internet or books. Also, you can ask
the help of your parents, siblings or friends. Do not forget, I am here to assist you.

§  Answer confidently. In answering the learning assessment activities you are expected
to do the following:

§  Motivate Yourself. Whatever knowledge or skill you are gaining from this course will
definitely help you in the field you are in. Be patient. Enjoy what you are doing. And
if you are not enjoying. Stop. Pray. and Reflect

§  Contact me. If any part of the module or lesson, you need my help and guidance, do
not hesitate to contact me through messenger and email.

§  Use the same standards of behavior online as in real life. Be nice.. Play nice
§  Be considerate. Avoid criticism and insults. No sarcasm
§  Read questions and conversational postings carefully to avoid unnecessary
confusion
§  Writing in all caps is like YELLING
§  Respect each other’s privacy. Keep discussion professional
§  Don’t abuse your peer power. Set a good example
§  Remember. Keep class a safe, fun and responsible place to share your amazing
ideas and awesome.
§  Make a good Impression. (1.Use proper titles, 2.be clear, 3.use professional
language, avoid using slang or abbreviation 4. Use emoticons sparingly, 5. Say
“please and thank you”6. Check grammar and spelling)
§  Basic Email Guidelines (1.FONTS, avoid unusual and colored fonts, use 12pt or
14pt, 2.Avoid wallpapers and colored background, 3.Create a signature)
§  10.Use Appropriate language (1.Do not use profanity, 2. Do not respond when
angry,3. Avoid using all CAPS)
§  Be courteous (1.Be respectful, 2.Have and open mind, 3.Choose word carefully,

§  The Golden Rule “Do not do or say online what you would not do or say offline.
§  Think before you click. Always use a polite tone online. Avoid unleashing strong
emotions in asserting your opinions online that threatens to destroy the
camaraderie of a discussion. Also, these are public postings that can be traced
back to you and may live online for years.
§  Respect Other’s Privacy. In as much as you want others to respect your privacy
do the same for others. Materials such as documents, videos and photos intended
for your learning should not be altered in any form and shared to others. If you
wish to share with your classmates in correspondence, inform the owner (me) or
ask for permission.
§  Be respectful.  While it is easier to say hurtful or disrespectful things without
standing face-to-face with someone, it is important to remember that your classmates
and teachers are real people who are affected by the words you say and write.  It is
essential to keep in mind the feelings and opinions of others, even if they differ from
your own.  If you wouldn’t say it to someone’s face, don’t say it online either
§   Yes, grammar and spelling matter. While texting, textspeak can b gr8 4 ur friends. 
In an educational setting (even online) however, keep it formal.  Your written
communication should be professional and reflect proper writing style.  Save written
shortcuts and less than stellar grammar for Snapchat if you must, but follow grammar
rules for school.
§  Put silent mode the microphone if someone is talking

§   Make a point to be kind and respectful in your comments—even if you disagree with
someone.
ACADEMIC INTEGRITY

To accomplish this course, you must maintain at all times academic integrity. Students are
advice, encourage and respect the following

§  Students must act with honesty, fairness and respect in their respective academic work.

§  Give your best.  In doing the assessment tasks whether formative or summative, target
the highest standards because you are a better student. You have the knowledge and
skills that you need to finish your work with quality. I believe in you.

§  Work Independently. It is expected that you work on the module on your own. You
can ask help from others but do your best to do it first. It will be your own loss of
learning if you allow others to do it. Remember, in taking your board examination to
become a full-pledged nurse, you will answer independently. 

PLAGIARISM AND CHEATING

Students  are  advice, encourage and respect the following:


§  Students must cite others ideas and others work through proper referencing.

§  Do not copy others’ work or help others during quizzes, test or exams.

§  Do not submit others work as their own.

§  No fabrication. Students should not alter and transmit academic information and
records without authorization

§  Keep your Ethics. If you wouldn’t steal something from a stranger, same rules apply
when it comes to downloading and copying works of others. Remember, credit your
source and cite them properly. Respect the copyright laws. Do not lower your moral
standards when you go online.

§  Be honest. We may not be physically present watching you work on your course
module but God’s guidance is with you as He keep His watch on you. Plagiarism is a
form of cheating and is punishable by law.
