What is Information Technology?

 Information technology (IT) refers to everything that businesses use computers for. Information
technology is building communications networks for a company, safeguarding data and
information, creating and administering databases, helping employees troubleshoot problems
with their computers or mobile devices, or doing a range of other work to ensure the efficiency
and security of business information systems. Demand for professionals in this field is high and
growing, and people entering the field have a range of career paths to choose from.

What is System Analysis and Design?

 System analysis and design deal with planning the development of information systems through
understanding and specifying in detail what a system should do and how the components of the
system should be implemented and work together.

What does system analyst do?

 Implements computer system requirements by defining and analyzing system problems;

designing and testing standards and solutions.
 Defines application problem by conferring with clients; evaluating procedures and processes.
 Develops solution by preparing and evaluating alternative workflow solutions.

How information technology change our nation?

 Humans' primary means of improving society is through technology. It has become as important
as food because we consume technological services in the same way that we consume food for
ourselves. To be clear, technology has existed longer than written history; it has existed since
the dawn of man. For example, during the stone age, nomads used tools such as spears and axes
to hunt for food.
Technology can be used as both a tool and a weapon, and it is simple to use in any situation.
There isn't a single person on the planet who hasn't used it at some point in their lives. All of this
demonstrates that technology is a person's best tool, just as a dog is a person's best friend.
