Technology Improvements ........................................................................................................ 5
5G-NR support......................................................................................................................................... 5
• Technology improvements:
o Support for 3GPP NR-RRC Rel.16.2.0.
5G-NR support
• Support added for 3GPP RRC 16.2.0.
• Support added for Call Party Number during SIP calls, setting attribute:
o SIP_From_User
• Resolved a problem where TEMS Automatic using certain older HSPA devices were
not recognized as WCDMA-capable.
o Added support for new fields in the MACRATE message, for MAC DL
residual errors into the Message Browser, and MAC DL residual BLER in
attribute NR_UE_MAC_ResidualBLER_DL.
o Support added for 1024QAM modulation in PLAID and 256QAM modulation,
in PLAIU messages:
o Added support for PUSCH and PUCCH pathloss in Nemo Tx Power Control
(TXPC) message, setting attribute NR_UE_Pathloss_DL as the mean of
both PUSCH and PUCCH:
o Added support for additional Dropbox data transfer failure causes (DAF /
DAD / DCOMP):
• Support added for v20.2 scanner changes, in LTE Pilots v2, subversion 6, required
for analyzing TSMx scanner results in LTE, supporting attributes:
o LTE_Scan_***_SortedBy_RSRP[ ]
• Support added for NR5G PDSCH Throughput Carrier subver 3, into Message
Browser.
• Support added for NR5G PDSCH Throughput Info subver 3, into Message Browser.
• Resolved a problem where the Message Browser was not decoding the pixel
registration points correctly, in the IBWC TAB Info (0xC112) message.
Event Detection
• VoLTE setup failure event detection has been improved, adding SIP_Reason_Text
= MEDIA BEARER LOSS as an abnormal SIP cause (into the
VoIP_Event_Layer_NormalBYECondition trigger criteria). This is also checked
when the call is terminated with a UL SIP CANCEL message.
• Improvements have been made to the cell where an LTE dropped call
(LTE_RRCConnection_DroppedEvent) was detected, to ensure the event is
pegged at the correct cell during query analysis.
Generic
• Support added for 3GPP RRC 16.2.0.
• Support for RSRP, RSRQ and SINR measurements to be set from the
MeasResultSCG-Failure NR-RRC container:
o NR_RRC_MeasResultSCG_Failure_measResultPerMOList_ssbFrequency
o NR_RRC_MeasResultSCG_Failure_measResultServingCell_resultsSSB_Cell_rsrp
o NR_RRC_MeasResultSCG_Failure_measResultServingCell_resultsSSB_Cell_rsrq
o NR_RRC_MeasResultSCG_Failure_measResultServingCell_resultsSSB_Cell_sinr
Reports
• Improvements made to the ability to control the ordering of the cell layers, when
exported from a map into a configured report template.
Stateforms
• New stateform has been designed, supporting 5G NR Dynamic Spectrum
Sharing Analysis configuration and throughput results:
Licensing
• Resolved a problem where the dongle ID was only reported in the Diagnostics on
its second run, if the dongle was swapped to a new one.
• Advance notice is given that from the end of February 2021, Actix Analyzer shall
no longer support the obsolete Meritech SIGX format via the Meritech API.
Future support of the Sigma-LA/ML product ranges is planned.
• Advance notice is given that from the end of February 2021, Actix Analyzer shall
no longer support the obsolete DingLi .RCU format. Support shall be limited to
