When a glass rod is rubbed with silk cloth, then what kind of the electric charge produce on
the glass rod
Answer:
Silk cloths: Negatively charged
Glass rod: Positively charged
When the glass rod is rubbed with silk clothes, glass quickly loses electrons, and silk takes
electrons out of the glass rod. So after rubbing, the glass rod becomes positively charged  and the
silk gets negative charge.

 So glass acquires a greater order than silk as electron losses.

 Therefore, on rubbing, glass gets a positive charge and silk gets a negative charge.
 On both of them, equal but opposite charges are produced.

2. Explain how two objects can be attracted due to an electric force, even when both objects have
zero net charged.
An electric force is exerted between any two charged objects. Objects with the same charge, both
positive and both negative, will repel each other, and objects with opposite charges, one positive
and one negative, will attract each other.

It shows that as the amount of charge on the objects increases, the force between them increases,
and as the distance between the charged objects increases, the force between them decreases.

Like for example, a double A battery can't be function if two object are the same positive neither
same negative.

Point of zero charge is of fundamental importance in surface science. For example, in the field of
environmental science, it determines how easily a substrate is able to adsorb potentially harmful
ions. It also has countless applications in technology of colloids, flotation of minerals.

Therefore, the two object attracted it should be has a connection of positive and negative. If there
is a sound of a breeze from the air Likewise, the balloon will fly due to the gravity force from the
air.

3. The end of a charged rubber rod will attract small pellets of Styrofoam that, having made
contact with the rod, will move violently away from it. Described why that happens.

The end of a charged rubber rod will attract small pellets of Styrofoam that, having made contact
with the rod, will move violently away from it. ... This will cause the positive charges in the
pellets to orient themselves closer to the rod, and the negative charges in the pellets to orient
themselves farther away.

the direction of the electric field near the earth surface?
