LEARNING &
INNOVATION SKILLS
The first Green Contracting Summit was held
in October 2010, in Fort Worth, Texas. It
was part of Contracting Week 2010. Topics
included changes in building codes, advances
in heating and air conditioning, and new green
public policies. The summit provided a place for
leading contractors and green experts to share
knowledge and discuss issues that face those
working in the construction industry. Gatherings
such as this one are a great way for contractors
to continue learning.
It takes education and experience
to become a good contractor.
