Today, I talk about the difference between Hanoi city and Saigon city according to

my perception of weather, landscape, lifestyle and culture.

Hanoi is known for many lakes, Sword Lake, West Lake, Bay Mau Lake, Thanh Cong
Lake... Parks in Hanoi are quite few, mainly with quite large parks such as Thong
Nhat, Hoa Binh, Yen So. wonderful.
In Saigon, there are few lakes, mainly parks and rivers. Parks in Saigon are not
large, but many. Every few streets, you will see a corner of the park full of green
trees.

You can feel the four-season weather in Hanoi more clearly than in Saigon.
Hanoi has four distinct seasons: spring, summer, autumn and winter. Spring has
extremely unpleasant drizzle, the streets are always wet. Summer is very hot,
winter is very cold.
The rains in Hanoi are more persistent than in Saigon.
I'm a sensitive person so being too cold or too hot is torture for me.

Saigon people maybe more obey traffic rules than Hanoi people.
In Hanoi, I see a lot of people in traffic but wearing substandard helmets or not
wearing helmets and often encroaching on cars. In Saigon, there are also cars
encroaching on the car lane, but less.

Hanoi's young people like to gather together at a sidewalk iced tea shops, just a
few cups of iced tea and a pipe cigarette.
Young people in Saigon often meet in air-conditioned cafes, these cafes are
beautifully decorated so that they can take virtual pictures.

In a meal, Hanoians place more importance on invitations than Saigonese.

When eating, the younger person must invite each person in the tray before eating.
In Saigon, young people invite adults to eat, but the invitation is simple and
usually invites everyone together, and in some cases it is okay to not invite.
Hanoians eat loudly and talk loudly, in the tray of rice invited guests of Hanoi
people often have a lot of dishes, giving you a feeling that you are such an
important person, somewhat liberal. But suddenly you go to their house and they
invite you in for a meal, it's just a polite, social invitation.

In Saigon, even if it is just a small meal, they will not hesitate to invite you to
eat, feeling cozy and close.
Personally, I prefer to live in Saigon because the weather is less harsh than
Hanoi. Life in Saigon seems to be more comfortable than in HaNoi, without paying
too much attention to customs like in Hanoi it is very comfortable for an absent-
minded person like me.
