Reg 19: Precautions to be observed during
maintenance

• Only trained personnel in maintenance are allowed to work

• Work permit at both end of lines

• Proper planning and prior understanding is required

• Favorable climatic conditions

• Roles and responsibilities shall be fixed

• Tools and PPE’s shall be inspected before commencement of job

• Auto reclosure shall be in off position

• No metallic accessories like watches, brackets shall wear to avoid circulating currents
