INSTRUCTIONS
With 2 strands of A held tog, cast on 32 sts.
SIZE
Knit 3 rows (garter st), noting 1st row is WS.
One size to fit average woman.

Beg on a knit row, work 4 rows in stocking st.


MEASUREMENTS
Break 1 strand of A. Join 1 strand of B.
Approx 5" x 70" [12.5 x 178 cm].
Holding 1 strand each of A and B tog, and beg on a knit row, work 6 rows in
stocking st.
GAUGE
Break A. Join B.
6 sts and 8 rows = 4” [10 cm] in
Holding 2 strands of B tog, beg on a knit row, work 4 rows in stocking st.

Crown shaping: 1st row: (RS). *K2. K2tog. Rep from * to end of row. 24 sts.
2nd and alt rows: Purl.
3rd row: *K1. K2tog. Rep from * to end of row. 16 sts.
5th row: *K2tog. Rep from * to end of row. 8 sts.
Break yarn, leaving a long end. Thread end through rem sts and draw up tightly.
MATERIALS
Fasten securely. Sew back seam.
Bernat® Wool-Up Bulky™ (6 oz/170 g; 121 yds/110 m)
Contrast A Denim (50114) 1 ball
Contrast B Aran (50008) 1 ball
Size U.S. 19 (15 mm) knitting needles or size needed to obtain gauge.
