Virtual Reality Usage Guidelines

The Virtual Reality


The Virtual Reality or also known as VR is a computer-generated simulation of a three
dimensional image or environment in which one can interact with a seemingly real or physical
way by using a special electronic equipment.

Guideline Statement
These guidelines apply to all campus affiliates which include students, faculty, and other staff
members who will use Virtual Reality (VR) gadget. The guidelines were established to ensure
the proper usage of VR and to ensure its effectiveness in education. In using VR, students must
observe the following guidelines:
1. The students should know first the VR gadget before using it.
2. In order to use VR, there should have:
 VR gadget
 Mobile Phone
 VR Application/s
 Empty Room
3. Sometimes, pupils may be allowed to bring cellphones but only if the teachers require
them. There should have permission/waiver signed by the parents/guardians of the pupils.
4. In case of damage or loss of cellphones, the school is not accountable for it.
5. Pupils are not allowed to download VR applications on their own. Instead, they should
ask permission and assistance from their teachers to do so.
6. Pupils must check the condition of the VR gadgets before and after using them. If any
damage has seen, pupils must immediately report it to their teachers.
7. There should always have a designated room for VR users.
8. In using VR, pupils must be guided properly by their teachers.
9. In case of damage or loss of any VR gadget, the pupil who used the damaged/lost VR
will be accountable for it. He/She may be asked to replace it.
10. Pupils are not allowed to borrow and bring the VR at home.
11. Teachers who will use VRs in their classroom activities should ask permission form the
person who is in charge of keeping/storing them. Proper scheduling should be considered
and made to avoid conflict in schedule.
12. Grades 1 to 6 pupils can use VR gadget. However, grades 1-3 pupils are not allowed to
bring mobile phones. Instead, teachers should provide them (mobile phones) and with
proper strict guidance and monitoring.
13. VR should be used for educational purposes only.
