POLICY ON MOBILE PHONE DEPOSITION

RESIDENTIAL WING
Purpose: To enhance the mode & duration of communication between students and parents which help
students to be connected with their parents by video conferencing.

Procedure:
● Students will deposit their mobile phone, earphones and charger to the House parent when they report
to the hostel after vacations.
● Mobile will be given to Full boarders every Thursday after dinner from 8.30pm to 8.50pm and every
Sunday from 2.30pm to 2.50pm to speak to their parents and also browse the internet within 20 minutes’
duration of time.
● Mobile will be given to weekly boarders every Thursday after dinner from 8.30pm to 8.50pm to speak
to their parents and also browse the internet within 20 minutes’ duration of time.
● All the mobiles will be under the possession of Residential coordinator in a safe locker.

Disclaimer:
● Students should take full responsibility of deposition of mobile, recharging and charging it from
time to time.
● If students use the mobile phone beyond the time limit, they will not be allowed to use it next week.
● Any deviation in the rules of deposition or mis-conduct will result in confiscation of the device and
will not be returned back until the end of academic year.
