Slide 1 Good day classmates, good day Sir. Our report is all about Risk and Responsibility.

Slide 2 So, as a continuation of our report, I have here the outline of my presentation.

Slide 3 Now, let’s start with Values in Design. It - is a movement that goes beyond
standard requirements engineering to include individual and social principles as
equal inputs to the technology design process. Meaning, dili lang nag limit sa
engineering standards but also, gi consider ang idea sa isa ka individual to make a
better out put.
Slide 4 Under Values in Design, we have Software and Design Challenges. So, what are
those challenges? We have five: 1. Requirements volatility, 2. the process, 3. The
technology, 4. The ethical and professional issues, and the 5 is managing design
influence.
Slide 5 (Basahon ang Slide)

(Unlike the development of computer hardware, software's very own

nature allows itself to change to provide different or new functionality to
systems. This trait that makes software so desirable is what makes it also
so complex.)
Slide 6 (Basahon ang Slide)

(In many cases, a company’s design process is not well established,

poorly understood, or approached with minimalistic expectations that
ignore aspects that are essential to executing a successful design phase.
Focusing design efforts on creating independent software products, such
as a simple class diagram or user interface, while ignoring other design
activities may create complexities later during system’s test and
maintenance. The design process is challenging because essential design
process activities are often overlooked, done in an ad-hoc manner, or
simply not done at all. In many cases, a well-established and carried out
design process serves an indication of future project's success.)

Slide 7 (Basahon ang Slide)

(The technology aspect of software design is challenging because it is fast

and ever-changing, therefore designers must keep abreast of the latest
advances and become proficient in the application of these advancements
while maintaining rooted in legacy technology.)

Slide 8 (Designers create blueprints that drive the construction of the

software. During the creation process, designers are required to
determine how design decisions affect the environment and the
people that use the software. creation process, designers are
required to determine how design decisions affect the environment
and the people that use the software. In many cases, the software
development process is traditionally carried out under tight schedule
constraints.)

(Basahon ang Slide)

(That no matter how tight deadlines are, how much animosity exists
within the design team, or how much other external/personal factors
are brought into the design phase, software designers must exhibit
strong ethical and professional practices to ensure that the systems
they build are of highest quality and that all design considerations
are properly evaluated.)
Slide 9 (Managing these influences is essential for maximizing the quality of
systems and their related influence on future business opportunities.)
Slide 10 Now, what is a Hardware Switch? Hardware switch is a virtual switch
interface that groups different ports. it is supported by the chipset at the
hardware level.
