By approving or declining this change control request you acknowledge that you are fully
aware of the implications of the required change and therefore accept the Responsibilities of
Change Approvers as outlined in the Change Management Standards and Procedures
Both Voice and Data services namely Mobile(2G/3G/LTE), Roaming (voice and data), Fixed
(FTTx/ADSL/Land-Lines), Direct Internet Access, Billing, USSD services, SMSC services,
Ecocash Services, HPE-PCLOUD, Recharging, IT and ISP Systems (DNS, AD, MAILS, NMSes..)
and Bundles.
Business Justification / Reason for Change
We have recently identified a number of alarms which were addressed but the rate at which they
appeared led to ask for vendor recommendations. Software bugs were identified, to fix them we
need software patches. This patching will also be addressing the possible security loopholes of
which if not addressed would lead to information theft, network disruption and hence revenue lose.
