After graduating from your BS Civil Engineering degree, which among the civil engineering
specializations would you choose to pursue and why? Give your thoughts and ideas regarding
your chosen specialization.
After graduating from my BS Civil Engineering degree, I wanted to become a construction
manager, because this type of specialization in engineering is very relevant in present day and
in the future. Due to increasing rate of construction throughout the country and mega
infrastructure projects of the government which is the build build build program of the current
administration, it is very essential to pursue this type of specialization. And in construction
management it covers the overall planning, outlook, coordination, budget and control of a
construction project from start to finish. Without construction managers, construction projects
would be very disorganized and chaotic. They ensure the smooth running and efficiency of
projects. Being a construction manager is a good job because it helps a lot of people build what
they need and accomplish different task or projects in a very professional way.
