2. Based on the discussion presented about Information Technology, cite one advantage and one disadvantage of
using Information Technology. Explain your answer briefly.

One benefit discussed in the talk about Information Technology is that you will understand how IT may help
you and your team be more productive at work. Being a well-informed user will help you stand out in today's
world because of your advanced understanding. That is why, to the greatest extent feasible, we must broaden
our knowledge in order to uncover new technologies that will improve our production capacity at work and in
our teams. As a result, being an informed IT user is a valuable advantage that will help you get closer to a
successful outcome.

On the contrary, one disadvantage of adopting information technology is job loss; as a result of information
system implementations, functions that were formerly performed by human employees are now performed by
computer systems. As technology advances, most paperwork can be done instantly, and financial transactions
can be calculated automatically. As a result, information technology becomes more important than human
capacity, resulting in job loss or unemployment.
