1. What is Cybercrime?

Answer:
that involves a computer and a network as an instrument to further illegal ends,
such as committing fraud, trafficking in child pornography and intellectual
property, stealing identities, or violating privacy.

2. How does an individual commit cybercrime?

Answer:
If an individual committed crimes such as Phishing, Credit /Debit card fraud,
Credit/Debit card skimming devices, Romance scam, non-delivery of
purchased goods, Software piracy, Sextortion Modus, Online libel, Photo and
video voyeurism, Cybersex and Cyberbullying.

3. How does an individual know that he or she is already a victim of cybercrime?

Answer:
She/he will know if the criminal sends threatening email, posting on social media
or comes in contact through instant messaging, text messages or call.

4. As a Marist Student, how are you going to promote a cybercrime free society?

Answer:
As a Marist student I will share my knowledge on how to prevent cybercrime by
teaching them to safeguard their passwords and personal details online. Also
remind them to be cautious about accessing to computers, phones, and social
media. And encourage them to stand up to others who are being harassed, and
to report cyberbullying they may witness.
