Volunteerism

Community service is work undertaken by a person or group of persons that support

others. It is also performed in the place where you live, because the rewards of the job
are reaped by your own culture. To do community service, you are not paid, but you
donate time. Volunteering is an important factor and it is an individual or group's
charitable act of voluntarily providing time and labor for community service. In the fields
they operate, such as medicine, education, or emergency rescue, often volunteers are
specially qualified. People, for a number of reasons, chose to volunteer. For others, it
provides the ability to give the world something back or make a difference to the
individuals around them. It offers an incentive for others to learn new talents or draw on
current expertise and experience. Furthermore, volunteering does not only benefit our
environment but also has countless benefits on us for example volunteering connect us
to others, it helps us to make new friends, it increases our social and relationship skills,
it is good for our mind and body for the reason that it combats depression and it
increases our self confidence, mostly volunteering provide us career experiences.
