a. Cloning
b. I find some concept in eugenics hard because the term is new to me and I’m not familiar with
it.
c. Pregnancy termination in reducing the total number of infants born with inherited disorders.
2. Learning Insights

a. Before reading the article, I thought that

Cloning will help the world in new ways of creating or duplicating a life. Like those endangered
species, that are slowly in extinction.

However, after reading the article, I now think/learned that

I think that cloning is a form of disrespect towards God. It's also a form of reproduction that
Disrespects God.

b. Before reading the article, I thought that

The terms science and technology can be used interchangeably.

However, after reading the article, I now think/learned that

Science is the accumulation of information and insight, whereas technology is the application of
that knowledge and understanding. Science is the notion and idea that underpins technology.

c. Before reading the article, I thought that

Science was hazardous in and of itself. Science, as we know it, is and is responsible for
everything around us. Everything was the product of science, and science was the basis of everything
that made our life easier and less stressful.

However, after reading the article, I now think/learned that

Science predated technology. Agriculture and metal craftsmanship are two examples of early
human crafts that were made possible by technology. Science was still missing, and only technology was
employed previously. Science made no contribution to technological advancement. However, when
science arrived, it offered and created concepts about how the world works, and the ideas in technology
resulted in practical objects.
3. Discussion Questions
a. Why does scientist is referred to as “Playing at God”
b. Why is eugenic had a rare case of immoral science?
c. What would happen to the world if the scientist is allowed to operate freely and they are
using it in a bad way?
