1. Assignment;

Chopstick District is ready for a next step.

We need to create a better design brand identity.

Right now people like our food, but miss our message.

Any efforts by ourselves lacks guidance.

Take;
- Japanese fortune kitty
- The name; Chopstick District
- Our story

Create the basics;

- Fonts
- Logo
- Color scheme

2. Who we are - what we do;

WHO.

Chopstick District is a curious, adventurous brand that doesn’t take everything too
serious. Opinionated too.

We explore new concepts; new idea’s to achieve goals some would argue shouldn’t
even be achieved. We joke about convention, but respect it still.

In the end food should be entertaining; for everyone involved.

WHAT.

Chopstick District is convinced that certain type of good food is hard to obtain and
makes it more readily available.

Not just good as in - it fills up- and the price is fair. But good because it’s also the
most fair to planet earth as could possibly be possible.

But that second part, which is hugely important, shouldn’t make the food boring. Oh
no!

That’s what Chopstick District achieves with its meals.

WHY

Cause that approach to food- will fulfil the needs of the people, who might not even
be aware that much, that they need it.

3. TARGET GROUP

We’ve seen a-lot of exploring types coming to visit us. More than expected, older than
expected. People come in for the good food, are not disappointed but completely miss
what we’re trying to achieve. Unless we point it out, which we do. But that could be done
a-lot better.
Adventurous people that are willing to try new experiences, that are not opposed to
occasionally taking care of themselves but also understand that consumption effects how
we effect each other and the planet.

A-lot of international people, hence the English.

30-50 years old- open to new things.

4. FEELING AND GOAL OF THE DESIGN

People should feel excited about the (funny/naughty) cat doing / eating in a non
conventional way - Get food in there.

Recognisable - food related - clean - exciting

Eh what works in bigger more established brands? The store (is and will ) be using
a lot of bamboo wood.

We’re considering a ‘deep blue’ but hey tricky - you’re the designer

Cool style - that we can use for website / e-mails / social media etc.

5. Advantages of our product / concept (meals of Chopstick district)

Non conventional kitchen cooked in a non conventional way.


Heavy emphasis on sustainability, healthiness & exciting flavours!

Hard to obtain all those boxes anywhere else.
