1. Several websites provide ready-made speeches that public speakers are welcome to use as their
own. Aside from the dishonesty involved, why would using such speeches be a mistake?

Authenticity is very important when delivering speeches. In this way you can connect to the
audience easily and engage their attention to the message. Also by making your own speech it is
very easy to deliver and most especially it is more easy to stand with your message. Knowing
your audience is imperative in preparing a speech so raising your message is easier when they
can easily connect with it.

2. Are jokes required for an entertaining speech? Explain your answer.

Yes, making jokes are fine in speeches in this way the audience will be more attentive. Jokes are
the ice breaker in speeches. But we should put in mind the words that we will use in our jokes so
that we can avoid offensive and hurtful jokes. Most importantly in including jokes to your speech
we should be reminded our limitation.

3. Why should most of your research be done before asking someone for an interview?

Knowing your audience is imperative, by this way we can easily connect with them and engage
their attention. Doing research about your audience before asking them is important because in
that way they will comfortable and they will not feel hesitant to answer your questions.
