required to produce an informative brochure entitled “What Sociology Is All About”
2. Mode: Pairing (2 person) 3. Format: informative brochure including title,
content, graphic and reference. 4. Date of Submission: 6 th August 2021, Friday
(Week 5) ** If you have any difficulties in submitting the assignment according to
the date given, please come and discuss with me. PROGRAM OUTCOME(S): PO1: Knowledge
PO3: Thinking & Scientific Skills COURSE OUTCOME(S): CO1: Describe verbally and
in written form the concept and principles of sociology. CO2: Classify and explain
in written form the components of sociology. CO3: Explain verbally and in written
form the important characteristics of each sociology component. CO4: Elaborate in
written form the relationship between sociology and social sciences. QUESTION: You
are required to: 1) Prepare an informative brochure covering the selected chapters.
2) Only two person per brochure (pairing work) 3) Each group should thoroughly
design the content of the brochure and no similarities / plagiarism from other
group is allowed. 4) The size of the brochure should be in A4 paper divided into 3
panels/sections (A4 folded into 3). 5) Chapters involved are as following: - -

attached. The total mark for this assignment is 40. It is accumulated for 20% of
the assessment mark. ** Marks will be evaluated based on the rubric. Please read
the rubric thoroughly and prepare the assessment according to it. ** Please be
aware with the date of submission. The assignment should be submitted on time.
Marks will be deducted for late submission.

brochure and all the elements are easy to follow (95-100%). The brochure has
exceptionally attractive formatting. Most of the brochure flow is logically written
and well planned (85 – 94%). There are few weak areas, but overall design is good.
The brochure is not clearly organized and hard to follow (84—50%). Do not follow
the required format. The brochure is lacked organization (less than 50%) and the
design is far from what is assigned
