Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of lndia praying that in the
circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased to
issue any writ order or direction more in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the
action of the 2nd respondent in calling the petitioner to the police station and
threatening to settle the issue with the 3'd respondent by paying them amount and
interfering in the family issues, without following due process of law as illegal,
arbitrary and contrary to law and consequently direct the respondent no.2 herein not
to call the petitioner to the police station without following due process of law

ORDER:

Sri S.Ram Mohan, learned Assistant Government Pleader

for Home, on instructions would submit that on the complaint
lodged by the 3.d respondent against the petitioner, the 2nrl

respondent has registered a case in Cr.No.1O of 2O2l for the

offence under Section 498-A IPC. He lr'ould further submit that

on receipt of the complaint on 05.O1.2021 , though the petitioner

was requested to attend for counseling, he did not attend for

counseling and he did not cooperate with the Investigating

Officer. Therefore, the 2"d respondent has registered a case in

Cr.No.10 of 2027 and the same is pending.

Recording the said submission, this Writ Petition is closed

granting liberty to the petitioner to take appropriate steps in

accordance with law.

Miscellaneous Petitions, pending if any, shall stand

closed.
