Instructions:
1. Search for information and accomplish the following:
• Provide/create an organizational structure of a hotel’s rooms division;
• Identify the functional departments that are linked to the front office department and explain
how each collaborates with front office; and
• Give three (3) front office job positions along with their respective duties and responsibilities.
2. Visit http://www.tripadvisor.com and do the following:
• Browse through some of the reviews by travelers about the different hotels in the Philippines,
preferably those within your locality or region. Takedown notes and make a summary of the
common feedback or factors that cause these hotels to be positively or negatively reviewed,
particularly on rooms division; and
• Afterward, answer this question:
o What are the implications of your findings to a front office staff?
