many people of different countries and different cultures. Therefore, the gastronomy of

Nathan’s de Coney Island.

THE PIZZA The pizza is a European food because it's

of Italy. However, it is more popular in USA than in Italy. This restaurant is one of the

restaurants that sell rations of pizzas because the majority of restaurants use to sell the

whole pizza. Besides, the first pizza restaurant opened in New York and still is there. In its

website, they stand out this idea explained:

“Lombardi's was founded in 1905, making it the first pizzeria in the United States. Still

located in the Little Italy section of Manhattan offering its beautiful, smoky-crusted coal

oven baked pizza, topped with San Marzano tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, and basil,

keeping locals and visitors alike coming back”. On

the other hand, there are other popular places that sell pizzas: Lombardi’s (Brooklyn)

and John´s Pizzeria (Bronx and midtown).

THE SANDWICH OF PASTRAMI Other food very popular in

New York and USA is the sandwich of Pastrami. It has meat, generally of veal, different

spices and gets smoked up. This recipe belongs to the Jews of Romania and the immigrants

took it to America. It is a very popular product in USA and Romania but also is popular in

the region of Europa's Center and Eastern Europe.

sweet is of origin America. These sweets use to do

them with many imagination and creativity because almost all of them are decorated with
