PAMBABATOK: A TATTOOING TECHNIQUE OF THE BUTBUT TRIBEIN

 She became famous because of Dr. Lars Krutak an American Anthropologist: The host of Discovery
Channels Tattoo Hunter 2009.

 An endangered ancient tattooing technique that chiefly constitutes hand-taping to create figures on the
skin
 Traditional design came from the symbols of nature and geometric of ButBut Tribe.

 female with tattoo symbolizes beauty. The more they have tattoos the more men will be attractive to
them.
 Tattoo could also cure infertility and illness.

 The culture of the tribe is slowly disappearing due to modernization and religion
 Grace was awarded 2018 Dangal ng Haraya award for Intangible Culture Heritage by National Commision
of culture and Arts (NCCA)
