The first week of the lock down brought many of us to the edge of panic and despair.

No leaving
our homes unless it’s absolutely essential. The pandemic has affected me in a lot of ways, mostly
my productivity, motivation and my mental, emotional and physical health. I lost all motivation
and spent most of my day in bed. I could hardly find the willpower to get up before noon. This
took a while to change. During this time I have learned more about myself and my habits than I
have in a very long time. In spite of the trouble these past few weeks have caused me. One of the
most important things I’ve learned during this pandemic is to take care of myself and to devote
more time to myself. Taking care of yourself is something so underestimated nowadays. Whether
due to a lack of time or due to too much stress in everyday life or for a whatever reason, people
don’t devote enough time to themselves. While in the midst of pandemic, I’ve had a lot of time to
think and realize that actually taking care of myself is one of the things that makes me happy. I
mean little things that I believe are available to everyone. These little things are actually the ones
that help me find myself. I have come to realization that Its normal to come across obstacles, that’s
how we learn when we overcome challenges. Life is a lesson and we will continue to learn it
every day. Everything doesn’t have to be perfect in life for us to be happy and to appreciate
ourselves and everything around us.  We just have to be grateful. The best life lesson is learned
during the hard times. Enjoying our life and appreciate what we have. Lets just be happy and
positive for everything around us and we will become stronger person and a better version of our
self. This situation has taught me many things. It taught me to love especially to myself, to listen,
to care, and to overcome the challenges that I am facing right now. The pandemic likely won’t end
tomorrow, so it is really important that we adapt our lifestyles to this new environment so we do
not lose track of our schoolwork nor ourselves. Finding a balance that suits me and a structure that
allows me to be productive and have fun makes this time a lot easier to deal with.
