K2-Trial Lesson 1 Good morning.

The learner:
 can use the phrases “Good morning, Good afternoon, Good evening.”to greet.

Cover page: Greeting (3 mins)


 Greet S (show your enthusiasm and kindness).
 You can say “Hi/Hello/What is your name/How old are you?/It’s nice to see you/Good
morning/afternoon/evening.” or click the sound icon to introduce Akasa and Bill.
 Then introduce yourself in a simple way.
 Tell the S there are four treasure boxes in the class to inspire the S.

Part 1 Warm up (1 min)

 Ask the S “ when is it of the day” according to the picture.
 Or you can ask S “What can you see in the picture/ What do you do in the morning?”

Part 2 Let’s Learn - Words (3 mins)


Page 3-5 (3 mins)
 Play the audio and let the S to read the words one by one.

 Please enunciate the words on the page, and when you pronounce them please show the
motion of your mouth/ breath/ tongue for S to imitate.
 Have S read the words on S’s own and correct S’s pronunciation when necessary.
 You can play the high-low voice with S.

Part 3 Let’s play (16 mins)


Page 6-8 Play 1 (3 mins)
 Explain and act the gesture for Yes and No to S;
 Ask S to use gestures to show his/ her judgement, then click to show the correct answer and you
can ask S to correct the mistakes.

 Click and ask S to guess when is it of the day from the picture one by one and then click to show
the answer.
 Help S if necessary.

 Read the sentences one by one and ask S to read after the tutor.
 Have S to read on S’s own and correct S’s pronunciation when necessary.
 Have a role play like Akasa and Bill.

 Ask the S to choose the right answer which is the same as the given sentence.
 Have S to read on S’s own and correct S’s pronunciation when necessary, then can repeat again.
 Help S if necessary.

 Play the audio and ask S to sing or clap hands together.
