1. Identify three to five basic information about Rizal.

The real name of Jose Rizal is Jose Protacio Rizal Mercado y Alonzo Realonda he was born on June 19,
1861. He died on December 30, 1896 in Manila. He is Patriot Physician and man of letter whose life and
literary works were an inspiration to the Philippine nationalist movement. Ang also he isa our national
hero.

2. Interview the oldest person in your household using your formulated questions.

ANSWER:

a. Kilala nyo po ba ang ating pambasang bayani?

-Di ko kakilala pero kwento sakin ng mga ninunu ko na si jose Rizal ay ating Bayani

b. Alam nyo po ba kung kalian sya ipinanganak?

- noong June 19 1861

c. Pang ilan si Rizal sa magkakapatid?

- Ang kwento sa akin ng aking mga ninuno ay pang pito sa labing isang anak

d. Kailan namatay si Rizal?

- December 30 un lang natatandaan ko

e. May nagging asawa po ba si Rizal?

- Ang alam ko kwento kwento pito ang nagging pag ibig ni Rizal pero ang gusto nyang pakasalan ay si
Josephine Bracken na isang Alemanya pero hindi sila ikinasal ng pari kalaban sya ng mga pari .

f. May mga natattandaan po ba kayo na mga nagawang novel ani Rizal?

- dalawa ang naikwento sa akin Noli Me Tangere at El Filibusterismo

ASSESSMENT/REFLECTION

Reflection No. 1. How do the issues of the present-day Philippines reflect the Rizal Law?

ANSWER:
Back in the 1950’s the Philippine much like Today, was dominated by the religious sector. Today issues
between the government and the religious sector have been more prevalent than ever. Although this
time it’s not just the Catholic Religion that has stake in government affairs. One of the most notable
issues of the modern times concerning the church and the state was the Reproductive Health Law. Aside
from this the church has been reported to become even more involved in politics have their candidates
while those opposing their beliefs were criticized heavily swaying public opinion.

Reflection No. 2. After reading RA 1425, what provision will you add to make it more relevant to the
youth like you? Explain your answer.

ANSWER:

RA 1425 is the salient provision of Rizal Law the point of Rizal Law is to educate us of life and works of
and writing of Dr. Jose Rizal particularly the novel s of Noli Me Tangere and El Filibusterismo, shall be
included in the circular of all schools, colleges and universities, public and private. It help to educate us
and to know all the contribution of Dr. Jose Rizal and I believe in him that the “ Ang Kabataan ang Pag-
asa ng Bayan”
