Role and Responsibilities

 Helps customer to plan, design, and implement Cisco products, services and solutions Drives technology
design, implementation, execution and/or optimization for customer projects/accounts.
 Work with customers to plan, design, configure and/or diagnose Cisco’s suite of products, services and
solutions to accelerate customer outcomes
 Assists customers with integration and implementation of tools, systems and service assurance
 Creates and delivers customer collateral, portals, documentation and knowledge transfer
 Aligns technical deliverables to customer business outcomes
 Builds customer simulations in test labs to resolve/validate complex problems and compatibility issues.
 Drives customer technology transitions, influencing solution architectures and services
 Complies with and supports company policies and processes and utilizes relevant tools to effectively
execute the role
 Collaborates with other Consulting Engineers and managers in appropriate technology domains to ensure
optimal use of resources to meet customer needs
 Supports presale activities and translate business requirements into solution design by providing inputs to
Sales team in creating and demonstrating technology solutions to customers
 Solves highly complex problems and can identify viable and innovative options, and uses analytical skills
and judgement to recommend an appropriate solution

Technical Skills
 Expertise with Linux and various scripting languages.
 Interoperability Testing (IOT) methodologies
 Strong Communication and Presentation skills to major telecoms SP organization

 The Mobility CE (consulting engineers) delivers the technologies, solutions and services Service Provider
customers need to expertly manage their 5G / 4G / 3G networks. The ideal candidate is a creative problem
solver and system designer.

 CE must possess a broad knowledge, virtualized platforms and specific expertise with Mobile Data
Networks, as well as excellent Customer Relationship skills.

 In this role, you will design, test and deploy network products into our customer networks.
HLD / LLD / CIQ / configs / Test Plans / FOA testing

 Cloud Native Architecture

o Dockers / Kubernetes
o Containers / Microservices principles / SMI

 Evolved Packet Core Experience

Minimum 3 years in system design, deployment and test. Capable of architecting Packet Core Networks
and understanding the end-to-end network architecture including:
o SMF / UPF / AMF / MME, SAEGW, SPGW, ePDG, SaMOG
o 3GPP standards
o 5G / CUPS / LTE / GSM / CDMA
o Subscriber Policy (HSS / HLR)
o Offline / Online Charging architectures (such as PCRF Gx and OCS Gy, interfaces)
o OSS and BSS Protocols for billing and provisioning interfaces (Gz, SOAP, Rest)
o Preferred: starOS based ECS / Deep Packet Inspection and enhanced charging principles (Rating
groups, redirect etc.)

 Virtualized Platform principles

o NFVi / VNF / NSO / ESC
o RedHat / OpenStack / CEPH / RHEL
o yaml config creation
 o Cisco UCS, CVIM and Cisco Ultra specific experience if available

 Data Center deployment as required for virtualized platforms

o TCP / UDP / IP
o Layer 1-3 functionality
o Leaf-Spine Architectures, VxLAN, ToR (Top of Rack interface)
o Knowledge of commonly used Dynamic Routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, etc)

 Additional requirements
o Experience working with TAC (Technical assistance center) is a plus.
