:  Nowapara Jute Mills Ltd.: Since inception, Nowapara Jute Mills
Limited (NJML) is engaged in producing of 100% export oriented
jute goods, namely Yarn, Twine, Hessian, Sacks and CBC (carpet
backing cloth). Their factory, located at Nowapara, Jessore spans
over an area of 45 acres and comprises of three separate factories
with a total covered area of about 400,000 square meters. The
 factory also has two warehouses for finished goods and 13 for raw
jute with a total storage capacity of 10,000 tons. The concern
produces jute yarns of various counts ranging from 7 to 26 and is
sold in bundles of 43,800 feet. At present, the concern has
capacity to produce 3,000 tons of Hessian, 3,600 tons of sacks,
550 tons of CBC and 10,000 tons of yarn and twine, utilization
approximately 70% of the capacity.

 Nowapara Packaging Industries Ltd.: Nowapara Packaging

Industries Ltd. (NPIL) was incorporated as private Limited
company in March 2008. Their factory is located at Dhamrai,
Dhaka on 151 decimal of land out of which factory building is
30,000 sft in 69 decimal lands. NPIL has the capacity of
producing 6 MT of yarn & twine and 9 MT of sacks per day. At
present, NPIL has a total number of 600 employees. NPIL exports
in India, Pakistan, Belgium, Turkey, UK, USA, Saudi Arabia and
in local markets.

 Nowapara Industrial Corporation Ltd.: Nowapara Industrial

Corporation Ltd. is engaged in trading raw jute. NICL purchases
raw jute from the farmers and sells to its parent company
Nowapara Jute Mills Ltd. NICL buys jute from the farmers and
stocks them during the peak season (July-September). The main
buyer of NICL is its parent company Nowapara Jute Mills Ltd.
