MAEC 2 MD- HUMAN BEHAVIOR ORGANIZATION

JULY 8, 2021

1. Relate the movie to Human Behavior Organization

We were taught that only money, awards, recognition, benefits (and what motivation theories
have said) promotes productivity and employee work performance, but the movie implies that
making the employees happy is the key. Thus, the movie states "When people are happy, earnings
will increase on their own". The movie portrays the advantages of a "people-oriented culture" that
when every employee is treated fairly, with decency, and with respect, employees will help the
company reach its targets. This movie will open your eyes to the reality that non-competitive
applicants can turn out to be an asset to the firm, or, if they are not valued highly enough, a threat
or even worse, the company’s strongest competitor. Despite Mr. Puri's insistence that Singh is
completely zero, he ends up saying he has never seen a bigger zero than him.

2. Personal Takeaways
 Success in company is tied to delighted customers. Always keep in mind that you need
customers; customers do not need you. A good sales representative is one who knows
their consumers and can assist them. Do all the customer service.
 Consumers who are delighted and satisfied will help increase the profitability of a firm
through word-of-mouth advertising. Pleased and satisfied with increased customers.
 People should be considered resources and capital in the company. If you treat your
employees as a partner, they will work for their own benefit.
 People participating have outstanding achievements.
 Even zero has a value. A good fit for the bottom rung of the organization structure is
extraordinary. While genius can spoil a game if put in the incorrect position, placing it is
important for the organization's success.
 Everyone is born with the capacity of “vice & virtue.”
 Every employee has both growing and declining attributes, which affect your job future.
 Entrepreneurs must take risks. Entrepreneurs must learn to challenge themselves and play
outside their comfort zones. The biggest risk in life is to avoid taking risks.
 Successful corporations require a devoted crew. It is excellent when a full team is
delighted with their work. Therefore, one can see that providing satisfaction to their
employees is an important role for organizations.
 Emloyees satisfaction is critical for team performance.
 The “AYS Corporation” was brought down by its management system.
 Only providing incentives will not satisfy an employee's expectations. They require
motivation, respect, and a positive work environment.
3. Favorite scene in the movie

This is my favorite part in the movie when an employee of AYS Computers who serves tea to his other
co-employees and was called a “cup-tea” expressed his gratitude to Singh that he has never been felt
respected when Singh called him Mr. Mishra. This is a great example of a people-oriented culture in
which there is a stronger emphasis on the expectation of treating people with respect and decency. A
normal employee became an asset of the other company. I never knew that calling people Miss and
Mister is so important to them until I saw this movie.
