• O presente contínuo (present continuous) é usado para
expressar ações que estão acontecendo no momento da
fala.
• A regra é: presente do verbo to be + verbo principal + ing
 Present Continuous

Spelling rules for verbs Example

Most verb: Verb+ING Look – looking
Verb ending in E: Destroy - destroying
Verb – E + ING become - becoming
Verbs ending in C-V-C Settle - settling
Verb+last consonant+ING Get – getting
Verbs ending in IE Stop – stopping
Verb-ie+y+ING Die – dying
