Sample question
Q. Write an article about the 'Importance of Books' for your school magazine.

Importance of Books
There is a saying, "When you open a book, you open a new world." Meaning that a book itself has a world in it.
Everyone would agree to this statement because books are the biggest source of knowledge for mankind. Books
are a part of everyday life for many people. They play a significant role in our lives and are those friends who
will never walk away.

Books are packed with knowledge about various aspects of life. They are like windows steering into the early
times. They have been around for centuries and without them the knowledge of our ancestors would have been
impossible. If all the great scientists have not noted down their studies, the world would not have progressed so
much. The World Book Day is celebrated on the 23rd of April to celebrate authors and the pleasure of reading.

A book is the best way of communicating knowledge and wisdom of all kinds. It helps us to change our attitude,
our ideas and the way we see the world. It helps build personality, behaviour, knowledge and ideas. It adds
more to the intellect than anything.
