D. Y. Group’s Ramrao Adik Institute of Technology
(RAIT) is established in 1983. The institute is one of the
oldest and finest Engineering Institutes in Mumbai. RAIT
provides state-of-the-art amenities, which combined with the

About IT Department
The department of Information Technology was started in the
year 1999, to coincide with the need to produce efficient and
effective engineers for satisfying the immense requirement for
professionals in the field of Information Technology. With the
aim to produce smart I.T. professionals and researchers, the
Masters of Information Technology was started in the year
2012. The department aims to provide the students with the
platform to develop insight in the current IT trends/problems
and motivates them to develop innovative solutions.
About Training Program
This Blockchain course provides an overview of Bitcoin,
Hyperledger, Ethereum, and Multichain blockchain platforms.
The goal of this course is to expose participants to Blockchain
concepts to provide an up-close view of its design and
features. At the end of the course, participants are expected
to be confident to apply new blockchain technologies. Every
topic will be introduced before its corresponding hands-on
component. For some of the concepts, recent research works
proposing extensions/optimizations will also be covered.

The objective of the STTP is to introduce fundamentals of
blockchain technology and implementations of blockchain One Week Short Term
technology with their real time applications. The eminent
researchers from IITs, Industry and Academia will deliver the
Training Program (STTP) in

aims to cover up complete understanding of blockchain
