'Make' has more force and authority than 'Get'. 'Make' is a stronger
version of 'Cause'. Normally use of 'Get' indicates modesty, request and
use of 'Make', 'Have' indicate force, compulsion for doing something.
The causative verb make is always used along with base form of verb.
