Reaction Paper about Micrometer and the Vernier Caliper

We learn that the Micrometer and the Venier Caliper are both tools that use to measure
lengths that are shorter than 1 mm. I’m amazed that this tools are so precise and accurate in
measuring lengths even in mm but for sure there’s a difference between this two tools. The
Micrometer is more suitable for measuring smaller lengths because it’s measuring range 0 to
25 mm and resolution 0.01 mm while the Vernier calipers provide precision to 0.01 mm (10
micrometers) or one-thousandth of an inch but. There are a few things to remember about
Vernier calipers, one disadvantage is that it’s less precise like Micrometer but it appears to
have a bigger measuring range, which leads to greater versatility. The parts of this tool also
help a lot so that it will perform better and especially we can easily use it.

The virtual simulator also helps a lot as I was able to experience measuring using
Micrometer and Vernier Caliper. In conclusion, I was able to learn how to get an accurate
measurement and use this tools, it helps a lot not just because its measures things but
because of the main function of it which is measuring lengths that are shorter than 1 mm.
