Myanmar: Flood and Cyclone Snapshot (16 September 2015)

OVERVIEW FUNDING
Heavy rains since June 2015 have caused floods and
landslides in several parts of Myanmar. On 30 July, Cyclone
US$75.5 million
needed to help 580,000 people
Komen made landfall in Bangladesh, bringing strong winds
KACHIN (August to December 2015)
and additional heavy rains to Myanmar. This resulted in INDIA
widespread flooding across 12 of the country's 14 states
and regions, temporarily displacing over 1.6 million people. CHINA $23 million
