Test Report No. 7191101923-EEC14-01
dated 11 Dec 2014
Remarks:
1) Witness testing was conducted at Phelps Dodge International (Philippines) Inc. Luisita Industrial Park,
San Miguel, Tarlac City, Philippines from 20 Nov 2014 to 21 Nov 2014.
2) The scope of British Standard 6387 : 1994 does not cover cables having one insulated conductor
without metallic element. Tests were conducted by adopting the test methods specified in British
Standard 6387 : 1994.
3) The British Standard 6387 : 1994 is applicable to cables rated at voltages not exceeding 450/750V. The
voltage applied to the tests in this document were based on 600/1000V.
4) For conductor resistance at 20°C, no requirement provided as 2.0 mm 2 is not within the clause 7.1 of
British Standard 6387 : 1994. The requirement is accordance with PNS 1207:2006 as requested by the
client.
5) For resistance to fire alone, 4 metal supporting rings were used instead of 5 metal supporting rings as
stated in the clause D.2.1.2 of British Standard 6387 : 1994.
6) For resistance to fire with mechanical shock, each length of two steel runners is 1.2 m, size of board is
905 mm x 304 mm x 13 mm and the mass of the wall is 16.5 kg were used instead of the parameters
stated in the clause D.4.1.2 of British Standard 6387 : 1994.
7) Except for remarks 2 to 6, the sample tested is deemed to comply with the adopted test methods of
British Standard 6387 : 1994 for those tests conducted.
