Oil Pressure Is Low


SMCS - 1348-035-PX

For Engines Equipped With A6:E11 Electronic Control Module

NOTICE

Do not operate the engine with low oil pressure. Engine


damage will result. If measured oil pressure is low,
discontinue engine operation until the fault is corrected.

Note: Severe slopes can cause low oil pressure. If the machine is operated on severe
slopes, the oil level in the engine crankcase must be at the "FULL" mark on the
dipstick. Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual for details.

The Electronic Control Module (ECM) monitors the engine oil pressure. The following
events are associated with low engine oil pressure:
