Why Have a New Fully Synthetic ATF
for the ZF-Ecomat 2 plus?

Since the ATFs available on the market today do

no longer live up to the requirements
established.

Therefore, new development of

the

took place.

ZF-Ecofluid A plus

The following development objectives were achieved:

Very good thermal oxidative stability.

Optimum operation viscosity at increased temperature levels

(approx. 40% higher than for mineral oil).

Viscosity declines very little in operation (mineral oil - 25 %).

Corrosion characteristics in relation to Cu are five times

better than mineral oil.

No formation of oil sludge.

Oil change intervals 3-5 times longer than regular ATF!

The Plus for the (Transport) Operator

More environmentally friendly

thanks to less used oil (oil change intervals possible every 120,000
km to 150,000 km, depending on application. Field test for even
longer oil change intervals progressing very well).

Greater ease of shifting

thanks to enhanced shifting capability, even under extreme climatic
conditions.

Reduced maintenance costs and shorter bus downtimes

thanks to even better wear protection due to improved thermal
stability and even better shear characteristics.

Highly flexible with reference to temperature

thanks to no losses in viscosity in cold and hot climates.
