Important Instructions to Applicants for “Proctored Online Exam SRMUH’21”

Before starting the “Proctored Online Exam SRMUH’21”, please go through these important
instructions:

1. The “Proctored Online Exam SRMHUH’21” is being conducted on Sept 4th 2021, as per the slots
booked by the Applicants. The Exam will be active exactly during the slot timings.
2. The “Proctored Online Exam SRMUH’21” will have no negative marking and there will be 100
questions, with time allowed 90 minutes. Maximum Marks 100. It is compulsory to attempt all
questions.
3. The Test is objective type, containing multiple choice question (MCQs). Each objective question
is followed by four responses. You are required to choose the correct/best response and select
the option.
4. You must verify your identity using a photo ID that has your name and photo on the same side.
The name must match the full name, as per your name in application.
5. The applicants are requested to appear for the “Proctored Online Exam SRMHUH’21” from their
home using Laptop/Desktop on the date and time as per the slot booked.
6. No other person is allowed to enter the room while you are taking the “Proctored Online Exam
SRMUH’21”.
7. The lighting in the room must be bright enough to be considered “daylight” quality. Overhead
lighting is preferred. If overhead lighting is not available, the source of light must not be behind
you.
8. You must sit at a clean desk or table.
9. The desk or walls around you must not have any written content or any paintings/photographs.
For rough work you may use the paper and pen with the permission from proctor.
10. The room must be as quiet as possible. Sounds such as music or television are not permitted.
11. The following items must not be on your desk or used during your proctored exam, unless posted
rules for the exam specifically permit these materials:

• Books/Notes
• Textbooks
• Notebooks
• Mobile/Tab/Phones

12. You must wear formal dress.

13. You must not use headphones, ear buds, or any other type of listening equipment.
14. You must not communicate with any other person by any means like mobile etc.
15. You must not make any call using phone for any reason.
16. You must not leave the room during the Proctored Online Exam SRMHUH’21 for any reason,
unless posted rules for the Proctored Online Exam SRMHUH’21 specifically permit you to do so.

18. Book Exam Slot and Take Test option is already enabled on your dashboard, but test will
be live only as per the slot timings. (*Please check Process Manual thoroughly).
19. The applicants should login 15 minutes before the commencement of the “Proctored Online Exam
SRMHUH’21”. The Exam will be active exactly during the slot timings.
20. For System requirement please check below mentioned points.
System Requirements

1). Preferred browsers: For taking the test, recommended browsers are Google Chrome (Ver. 7.5 or
above), Mozilla Firefox (Ver. 70 or above). Candidates using any apple device, kindly use GOOGLE
CHROME ONLY to take the test. Test will not work on Safari browser.
2). A web camera along with a working microphone is a mandatory for taking the exams.
3). Internet Bandwidth: The minimum required bandwidth is 1 Mbps of internet speed on each machine.
4). Laptop or Desktop: Minimum 2GB (though 4GB is recommended), Processor Speed- 1.5 Ghz and
above. Preferred Operating System – Windows 8 above.
5). The exam will not be support on Linux
6). Microphone is required for the test.
7). If your internet disconnects during submission contact the Help center on the given number and don't
close your window.
8). Laptop/Desktop is recommended
9). Make sure that pop-up blocker is disabled on your browser. Any notifications related to antivirus,
windows update, email notifications, whatsapp messages, calls etc. will be counted as navigation. Post
the navigation count Exam will be auto submitted.

Consequences of Rule Violations

If you violate the online proctoring rules and receive an Unsatisfactory status, your test automatically is
submitted. Decision of University Authorities will be final in this regards.
