Welcome to the Empowerment Technologies for Senior High School Alternative Delivery Mode
(ADM) Module on Online Platform for ICT Content Development.
This module was collaboratively designed, developed and reviewed by educators from public
institutions to assist you, the teacher or facilitator in helping the learners meet the standards set
by the K to 12 Curriculum while overcoming their personal, social, and economic constraints in
schooling.
This learning resource hopes to engage the learners into guided and independent learning
activities at their own pace and time. Furthermore, this also aims to help learners acquire the
needed 21st century skills while taking into consideration their needs and circumstances.
In addition to the material in the main text, you will also see this box in the body of the module.
As a facilitator you are expected to orient the learners on how to use this module. You also need
to keep track of the learners' progress while allowing them to manage their own learning.
Furthermore, you are expected to encourage and assist the learners as they do the tasks

Technology abruptly changed everything. Information can now be obtained faster whenever and
wherever. And as a 21st Century learner, you need to globally competitive and harvest all the
potentials and opportunities technology has to offer. Therefore, this module will give you
understanding of existing online creation tools, platforms and applications in developing ICT
content.
In this module, you will evaluate existing online creation tools, platforms and applications in
developing ICT content for specific professional tracks. Thus, it will show you existing online
creation tools, platforms and applications in developing ICT contents. You will appreciate the
better ways creating contents using different platforms using the internet.

learning becomes more convenient and inclusive. And because of the advent of online platforms
and applications, you have all the chance to create your own ICT contents without installing
applications to your own computer or device and sparing spaces in your hard drive. In this
lesson, you will learn how to maximize such technology and services in creating your best ICT
contents.

In this module, you will evaluate existing online creation tools, platforms and applications in
developing ICT content for specific professional tracks. As today’s generation is so dependent
on the internet, you are just familiar with search engines and social media platforms. But you
can do a lot more! You can maximize the internet or World Wide Web (WWW) as it offers a lot
of tools, platforms and applications in developing ICT content for your specific professional
tracks.
However, you must be familiar with different kinds of online technology so that you can take full
advantage of its use in your everyday life. On that note, it is important to consider existing online
creation tools, platforms and applications for you to create your own ICT content.

Cloud computing • simply called as “The cloud” you can access anytime, anywhere. It is the
exercise of using a network of remote servers hosted on the internet. In its place of using your
computer’s hard drive and storage, you store and access your data and programs via the
Internet.

as they offer a drag and drop interface and free hosting as well.

Visit again https://www.google.com.ph/maps. Navigate to the search tab and write the place
where your school is located. Just the city/municipality, and province only. For example,
Floridablanca, Pampanga. Take a screen shot for both maps view and satellite view. Send them
to your teacher via messenger with your name, date of capture, and device used.
Create one (1) presentation with a topic “How to prevent being infected by Corona Virus”.
Choose one (1) online tool/ platform in making your presentation (slideshare, prezi, google
slides). It should have a minimum of 5 slides and maximum of 10 slides. It should have pictures
and texts relevant to the topic. Consider colours and contrast. Send the link of your output to
your teacher.
