philosophy consists of two
Management philosophies. My primary goal for
this philosophy is to help my
Philosophy students create an environment
that will allow them to be more

their full potential.

Classroom Management
Philosophy #1
Harry Wong
How would Harry Wong’s Philosophy fit with my teaching
style?
● One of the ways this philosophy will fit in my classroom is by keeping my
students involved with their work, especially with academics.
● With this philosophy, my students will know what is expected from them.
● I don’t like wasting time so this philosophy will be perfect to fit in my
classroom. We won’t waste time, confusion, or disruption.

Philosophy #2
William Glasser
How would William Glasser’s Philosophy fit with my teaching
style?
● This philosophy fits in my classroom because if my students misbehave I
can suggest an alternative behavior for them to get what they want.
● It fits in my classroom because I can discuss with my students the nature
of the schoolwork, emphasizing quality and asking for input on criteria of
quality.
● It will also help me encourage my students to identify topics that they
would like to explore more in-depth.

that their bad behavior will not

have them try positive and
proactive behavior.
Conclusion
In conclusion, these philosophies were two of my favorites. Harry Wong’s
philosophy will help me stress the importance of consistency and to set things
in place early in the year. With William Glasser philosophy will help me with
good choice theory to make sure that student classroom activities are design
to satisfy my students needs.
